I bought my wife an Ebike a few years ago, she jumps on, twists the handle and takes off, losing her shoes in the process, hit the side of the road where it's sandy and the bike goes down, thankfully not hard. She gets up slowly, looks at the ebike and says "Well, I don't think I need to do that again", sold it in a couple of days and only lost a little bit of money on it.
