4/7/25 Kingman, Az. Andy Devine x Airway (Vehicle vs Motorcycle)

People don’t watch for us. Even if we have loud pipes.
I hear that, long time motorcycle rider, I always chalked it up to People don't see what they don't expect to see. People climb into their cages, the road is filled with other cages, and a motorcycle just is not part of their daily life. People simply do not see what they don't expect to see. An odd form of visual exclusion.

I saw a PSA kind of thing saying to play "Count the motorcycles" with your children when on trips anywhere. What a great idea to raise awareness of motorcycles. every adult that was exposed to that as a child would immediately flash back to that every time a motorcycle came into view. Doesn't do us allot of good at the moment though. haha

I agree. That would definitely be a good way to educate and make your kids aware. I have been so close to being ran over by drivers that don’t pay attention. My Harley isn’t quiet so I am not sure how they still don’t know I am there. So irresponsible of people.

Also people are wrapped up in their phones and music to not pay attention to anything around them. People rushing around and not giving themselves enough time as well. Smh.
