I use to live in Kingman live there for 15 year's. I recently moved to Arkansas then Missouri. I still have family and friends who reside in Kingman. I still like to keep up with the town I lived in. Especially since my family & friends are there. I still come back and visit.

Well, we aim to be a one stop source of news and info for Kingman, so welcome and I hope to get to know you better!

I got asked in a private message about myself, so, here I am in a nutshell.

Born and raised in Manhattan NY (still have the family brownstone on gramercy and 20th street), Army, met my wife Sandra when she was just starting her medical residency at Cabrini hospital (19th street between 2nd and 3rd). We were inseparable from the first moment we met, I asked her to marry me a month later, 34 years later, still going strong. I write children's and young adult books for a living. We moved from NY to Sedona, where we lived for 10 years. Sandra started to get fed up with the hospital administration there, so we made a change. I much prefer the Kingman vistas than the Sedona views, after a week of living in Sedona, no one notices the views any more. You do notice the tourists.

Reading, shooting, hiking, computers, electronics and 3d Printing are my hobbies.

Now, what about the rest of you?

Hi everyone! My husband and I live in Golden Valley and own 66 Trains model train shop in Kingman. We moved here in 2008 from Missouri, living in Kingman for 9 years before buying a home in Golden Valley. I am originally from Missouri; my husband is from Indiana. We moved here for a variety of reasons, but primarily because of the weather. I’m an avid KC Chiefs fan. I crochet, do beading, and love to thrift shop. We have two small dogs, and a semi-feral cat.

66 Trains! I see that all the time when driving up to Vegas. It's so cool that you found your niche.

I thought I had a huge culture shock coming from Manhattan, but Missouri has got to be even worse.

My husband is a model railroader (40+ years) and is a former locomotive engineer. So, it was kind of a natural transition for “retirement”.

Stop in and visit sometime when you’re passing by. We’re open Wed. through Sat. 10-5.

Will do! Kingman is a great spot for a train buff, thats for sure.

I added your business to our front page carousel, if you hate the idea, let me know and I will pull it down.

My wife is from Higginsville, MO. Also a Chiefs fan.

Hi y'all. Just moved to Kingman in April 24, from West Virginia. I'm originally from Northeastern, PA. ( Kingston, Mountaintop ) Wife is from Higginsville, MO ( near Kansas City ). Both of us just retired. Been enjoying the Kingman area, and Camping throughout the Western States. Enjoy riding the Desert on the SidexSide also.

I am looking to get a side by side, what do you have? My only issue is, my hiking companion daily is my Dog, Molly, and she is afraid of anything that moves. Whenever I get a new truck it takes weeks for her to trust it enough to get in.

Nice rig! She doesn't get used to things, she will fight to the death over it, LOL! I have to buy either Jeeps or the Bronco as those are the only trucks she will get into, I had a line on a beautiful Land Rover Defender (1990's version) and it was a no go. When We lived in Sedona I had a Hummer H1 and she loved that, but as it had a rear roof, she could run around in there as I drove, and it was big enough to have a big dog bed in with her water and stuff. The current Bronco, not so much, but she puts up with it.

Many a dealership was annoyed that the decision to buy or not buy was based don a dogs whims, LOL!
