Welcome Sandy! Going to keep bringing the happenings as they happen! And allot more, a much "wider" format here!We moved to Kingman 11 years ago - mostly for the weather and old cars! We moved from Southern Oregon where the snow and ice last until at least April/May. I follow this page to stay up on current "events" and to watch what is going on near us. Thank you for what you do!
When we moved in it was becasue Kingman was a car town as well, though we came from Sedona, and before that Manhattan, NY.We moved to Kingman 11 years ago - mostly for the weather and old cars! I moved to Texas several years ago. Now a Kingman resident. I moved from California to Texas due to prices and the way the state was being ran. I moved from Texas to Kingman due to the weather. Texas has high humidity, tornados and hurricanes. 80% of the year is summer and storms. 10% Winter/snow. 10% spring flowers. Definitely not for me. Have a great day and look forward to see how this site works out for me.

I am glad that we are getting the rational normal California refugees and not liek the Colorado or New Mexcio california locusts.Hello, my name is Hillary Nissen. I am married, a proud grandmother, and recently relocated to Kingman in August 2021. My family and I decided to move to Kingman to escape California's unreasonable policies and high taxes. We were drawn to Kingman's wonderful climate, convenient location, and the friendly, helpful nature of its residents. Since our arrival, we have felt incredibly welcomed and truly enjoy being part of this community.
lol. Never. I don’t compare Texas and California to Arizona. We won't hold it against you if you cannot finish the following sentence, "But thats not the way we did it in..."

Hi there, I'm 28 years old, born and raised in Lake Havasu City. Moved to Kingman in 2016 to be closer to my Grandmother as she retired here. I moved away from home, purchased my first home, and welcomed my daughter, all in the same year (2016 was magical). Worked at the hospital for a number of years than last 3 years within the school district. I absolutely love dogs and am a big advocate in the community with reunification and relocation. My daughter Brielle recently finished chemotherapy for Stage 4 Burkitt's lymphoma. The Kingman Community and beyond showed us so much love and support, we thank everyone so so much. Now having more time on my hands, I plan to go back to school and begin a class or two at becoming a paralegal, to then make my way to taking the bar exam and transitioning to an attorney, to serve future Mohave County. I love being a mother, gardening, listening to music, and cooking! Thank youSay hi, maybe tell a little about yourself. So glad you are creating this space for locals to keep up on what's going on in Kingman! I escaped California in 1993. Born and raised in Hollywood and lived all over Southern California (mostly beach communities). First stop in Northern Arizona was Prescott, back when Money Magazine named it the Number One Place to Retire. Couldn't find a Hospitality Industry Management job so I got my Real Estate License and became a Broker. When my company couldn't find anyone to manage a ranch project they purchased in Kingman (Windmill Ranch), I volunteered and moved to Kingman in 1997. We love it here. We're retired now and are always looking for a one stop source for Events Happening around town. We hope this will be where we check first.Say hi, maybe tell a little about yourself. We are looking to host a community that lets us dig deeply into local business, politics and general life.
